NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is now available in China, with prices exceeding $1000 USD for custom graphics cards.

NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card will not be available until the first week of January, but retailers have already listed it, and there has been an early performance leak that indicates where the graphics card will be placed in creative applications. While the previous listing was nowhere near the true MSRP, the new pricing in China may be what custom variants would cost in the Asian region.
A user has uploaded images of the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio and MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Ventus 3X graphics cards to Baidu. These cards are priced at 7199 RMB for the Ventus 3X and 7599 RMB for the Gaming X Trio variant, according to the lister.

When converted to US dollars, the Ventus 3X costs around $1034, while the Gaming X Trio costs around $1092. These are far higher than the MSRP, but this is where one should expect custom graphics cards to cost in Asian markets due to additional taxes.
‘Official’ NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB Specifications
The full-fat NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will use the “Ada Lovelace” AD104-400 GPU configuration with 7,680 cores or 60 SMs enabled. The GPU will have 48 MB of L2 cache and a 192-bit bus interface, so we can expect up to 12 GB of GDDR6X capacity. The memory is said to run at 21 Gbps, with a memory bandwidth of 504 GB/s. The card is said to have a boost clock of 2610 MHz, but the peak frequency will be higher.

The TBP now has a power rating of 285W, which is a 35W decrease from the RTX 3080 10 GB model and a 5W decrease from the RTX 3070 Ti. The new graphics card is expected to outperform the RTX 3080, but given the specs reduction over the 4080 16 GB, there will be a significant gap between the two models of around 30-40%.
