OctaneBench results for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti

A single GeForce RTX 4070 Ti render benchmark test result has been added to the official ranking.

OctaneBench is a graphics render engine that supports computing interfaces such as NVIDIA CUDA and Metal on Intel/AMD hardware. NVIDIA RTX graphics dominate the top of the rankings, including the enthusiast RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 models (the benchmark supports RTX acceleration). A result for the RTX 4070 Ti was recently added.

The upcoming NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti is an AD104-based high-end GPU. It is said to have 7680 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6X memory. This is the first desktop GPU to be released next year.

According to software data, the card scores 725 points in OctaneBench 2020.1, which is 5% faster than the RTX 3090 Ti, the flagship desktop GPU based on Ampere architecture. A score of 100 points represents approximately 100% of GTX 980 graphics card performance; however, the RTX 4070 Ti is also 7.25x faster than this Maxwell GM204-based SKU in this benchmark.

It should be noted, however, that this is a single score, and it is unclear whether the card was running with non-standard configuration, such as overclocking.

Reviewers are currently testing RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards, and this benchmark leak is most likely the result of one of them. The card will go on sale on January 5th, but reviews will be published a day earlier.
