GeForce RTX 4090 with blower cooler
A Chinese seller has confirmed the card we reported on in November. This time, however, it is a real graphics card rather than a render.
Manli allegedly created the original card, but the company later contacted us to deny such claims. The card appears to be nearly identical to what was seen in the leaked datasheet, but it is not entirely identical.
This RTX 4090 has a single blower fan and a single 16-pin power connector. The card, however, is limited to 450W TDP, and it is even sold with 3x-8pin power connector, just in case there was any doubt about cooler capabilities (most RTX 4090 come with 48-pin, which unlocks 450W+ power).

The card costs 15000 RMB (2150 USD), which is a bit pricey even for an RTX 4090. In China, the cheapest RTX 4090 is currently around 13000 RMB, while many high-end custom models, such as Colorful iGame Vulcan, cost 15000 RMB. As a result, given that there are far better options, this price does not appear to be very appealing.
Blower-type coolers were once thought to be the most cost-effective option for custom liquid-cooled systems. These cards are also used successfully in multi-GPU clusters for advanced compute workloads, as well as anything else that can run CUDA effectively. NVIDIA has their RTX workstation or data-center GPUs for everything else, which is also why board partners were told to cancel their plans for high-end blower cards.
