GALAX power supply is ready for RTX 4090 HOF
The GALAX HOF GH130 has a nominal power rating of 1300W and a peak power rating of 2600W. This is a premium product designed to compete with power units such as the MSI Ai1300P, which is also rated at 1300W and meets ATX 3.0 specifications. Similarly, GALAX PSU is 80PLUS Platinum certified, confirming 92% efficiency at half load.

This power supply is intended for overclockers, so, unlike most ATX 3.0/PCIe Gen5 ready supplies, it has two 16-pin power connectors. GALAX also sells the only RTX 4090 on the market that requires two of these cables, the RTX 4090 HOF, which has a power limit of up to 666W.

Galax’s entry into the new PC market segment is marked by the release of this power supply. Graphics cards, motherboards, memory, and storage are already available from the company. The GH1300 is now available on Chinese e-commerce platforms for 1899 RMB ($275), which is approximately 24% less than the MSI Ai1300P.
