At this year’s CES, ASUS revealed ten new ROG laptops for 2023, adding to their long line of popular gaming laptop series. All laptops include the new ROG Nebula Display, which provides fantastic colour, true blacks, and widely popular performance that all gamers require in today’s fast-paced gaming environment.
The 2023 ASUS ROG Strix and Strix Scar laptops feature the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics card, which supports NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and has a maximum TGP of 175W, as well as a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX CPU or AMD Ryzen 9 7000 series processor.
The ASUS ROG Strix and Strix Scar laptops will have DDR5 memory, PCIe 4.0 storage, and a long battery life, allowing you to game all day and charge at night. For improved cooling, vents surround the back and sides of the laptops. ROG Strix’s new line of 2023 laptops includes an FHD IR camera and WiFi6E and Thunderbolt 4 connections, with sizes ranging from 16 to 18 inches. Finally, with ROG Intelligent Cooling, the CPU and GPU thermal fans can reach 240W.
The new 2023 ROG Zephyrus Series gaming laptops feature the 13th Generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor or the most recent AMD Ryzen 9 7900 laptop processor, as well as DDR5 memory and PCIe 4.0 storage options. NVIDIA Advanced Optimus is supported by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU graphics card. ROG Zephyrus models include six-speaker audio for beautiful and rich sound, WiFi6E wireless connectivity, an FHD IR camera built into the frame, and Thunderbolt 4 connectors.
The unique AniMe Matrix dot-matrix display on the top of the laptop’s chassis distinguishes the 2023 ASUS ROG Zephyrus series of laptops. This adds a layer of customization for users by punching laser-etched dots to allow a bright white to shine through, and an included customised app will allow users to choose from a selection of animated and static images, as well as combine with scrolling text, to create a truly unique system.
Finally, there’s the ASUS ROG Flow series, which comes in X13, Z13, and X16 configurations. All three laptops will be available with up to an Intel Core i9-13900H or AMD Ryzen 9 CPU, an RTX 4070 GPU, and a stunning new design that emphasises portability in an ultra-thin and light design.
This year’s laptops include a new Off-Black colorway, allowing for a sleek black case next to equally sleek white Zephyrus laptops. The new ASUS ROG laptops are expected to hit retail shelves this quarter; pricing details will be released soon.
