GALAX once again “teases” the GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.

Reports

One Box, Two Models!

The Ada Lovelace AD104 GPU, which powers both the RTX 4070 Ti and the RTX 4070, will be shared. If the reports are true, the introduction of the RTX 4070 won’t happen until the end of Q1. Therefore, the fact that one of the biggest manufacturers of graphics card indicated it is worth mentioning.

Two GALAX products bear the RTX 4070 branding. Although those promotional materials were released a week ago, I didn’t realise it until I entered the information for these cards into our database.

Two items are mentioned on their packaging: the RTX 4070 Ti on the side and the RTX 4070 on the front. Only the EX Gamer White and SG White versions of these cards are covered by this. Although the Galax graphics designer made this error nearly certainly, the business has recently made very similar errors.

During one of its RTX 40 launch events a few months ago, the company displayed an unannounced GeForce RTX 4050 box. A little more recently, GALAX issued a banner for the RTX 4090 Ti HOF GPU when it was actually meant to be the RTX 4090 HOF that had just been launched. Whatever the case, such errors for GALAX are now fairly typical and shouldn’t be taken seriously.

The RTX 4070 Ti and non-Ti variants are expected to have fairly identical specifications (the same GPU and memory configuration), therefore it is almost certain that both SKUs will use the same cooling strategy. It is therefore quite plausible that marketing materials for these GPUs were created concurrently and that a mistaken logo was reproduced.
