In April, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 is anticipated to go on sale.

Leaks

Updated embargo details for the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 non-Ti variant have recently been made available by NVIDIA. Although the company has not yet provided a date, they have notified the board partners that the launch is anticipated to take place in April. All embargo information is still TBD (to be determined), however the real hard launch, also known as the “on-shelf” debut, will take place in April, albeit it is not yet known during which period of the month.

Information on NVIDIA embargo is frequently released, although it is subject to change. In fact, a lot of embargoes have been completely altered, delayed, or even repealed. Nevertheless, a lot could still change, so bear that in mind.

Over the past few months, the RTX 4070’s specifications have been touted quite a bit. Hardware leaker kopite7kimi reported the PG191 SKU 343 as a new SKU for the RTX 4070 last month. It was however listed next to SKUs 344 and 345, which are not covered by this restriction. We are not completely sure why this is the case, however it was believed that the RTX 4070 would have two GPU variations (AD104-250 and 251), necessitating board modifications for each SKU.

The RTX 4070 is anticipated to have 12 GB of GDDR6X RAM and 5888 CUDA Cores. This model ought to essentially be an RTX 4070 Ti that has a lower TDP (200W). April appears to be within the traditional launch window since earlier plans indicated that NVIDIA expects to begin mass production of the chips this month.
